I just want to know, the stock headlights come with the manual height adjustment, when you put in your retrofit headlights, will they connect to the manual adjustment thingy and will they be able to move when you adjust the height manually or using the nob inside the car?

Did you buy them with the LED bulbs from the seller or add your own? How they holding up? I think they are H7/D2H so one could do HID or LED. The High beams I'm assuming come with their own built in LEDs?

Crazy.. my 2017 basic S model came stock with really awesome LED Daytime Running Lights. That run independently from the actual headlights. When the emergency brake is disengaged they automatically come on. Just weird it wasn't stock on your more expensive upgraded model.

It’s literally the same thing, but Halogen. DRL’s still come on when E brake is disengaged…

Well i own a 2017 SE and it was halogen stock. I switched the bulbs for led ones. Its just a pain in the ass to do.

Was this truly plug and play? Also did you upgrade the low and high beam bulbs or were these the ones that came with them . I have a 2014 highline and my vland tail lights arrive tomorrow.

Kevin Inglis Plug and play. It will only work on models with factory halogen headlights. If you have factory HID, which is what the highline has, don’t think this would work.

was it really necessary to take off the bumper to replace the headlights? I was able to take off my stock one to see if I can do it and i didnt have to do all of that. Was there something I missed in the video or was it necessary to install the new headlights? They look sweet btw thanks for the video

You can do it without taking the bumper off, but I find it safer to take the bumper off than trying take the front grill off with the bumper still attached

That’s the issue. I had to get a euroswitch for the DRL’s to work on their own. Otherwise they don’t work on their own.

I got a pair I can sell. Wasn’t a fan of how they looked with the lights off so I decided to put the oem halogens back in until I can get a set of vland or better yet oem gli bi xenon headlights. Looking to sell mine though if interested let me know and we can work something out. Nothing against the lights they are really bright and not bad looking, just not really my style I’m into more of a natural factory look and these ones are a little too over the top for me

Yes, you would also need the euro headlight switch with parking mode, to run the DRL during the day.

You do know you did not have to take off the front bumper cover as the top grill pops out with 3 bolts revealing the headlight bolts. Nice lights.

Tried to take just the grill off, it wouldn’t budge and I didn’t want to risk cracking it. So I did it the safe way

Nick I had the same issue. The wiring is different in our country so it doesn’t activate the DRL automatically. You’ll need a EUROSWITCH to fix that, a European headlight switch with parking mode
