I have a MK8 R-Line. From the information I’ve found on the internet, the ones we get in Australia miss out on IQ Light but rather get Performamce LED. I’ve been trying to turn on the high beam assist which blocks the high beam blinding oncoming cars. The thing is my front headlights clearly have the IQ insignia however so I’m confused. The only feature I’ve seen and tested is the automatic high beam that turns on when in extreme dark and the poor weather lights. If you can help me it’ll be great help!

Does other vehicles have matrix headlights in Australia? Is it possible that there is some regulatory stuff that prohibits the matrix headlights? Like it was in the USA until last year…

⁠@@pavelppp888 I also own a Mazda MX-30 and it also comes with matrix lights so you can leave your high beams on without blocking the vision of the oncoming driver, works really well but my Golf R-Line is missing it.

Why do you need to change the front glass? I am not aware of that, sorry

@@pavelppp888 In my country . Vw did not put any camera on my car. And if you want these features like lane assist , DLA, sign assist, etc. You sshould assembly camera so you must change the front window because of there is no camera place on my recent window. Sorry if missunderstanding for my english 😇

Бедные встречные водители, большие никогда не включай DLA на 2-х полосной дороге. Советую пересмотрите в замедленной действии 0.5x как фары обводят встречную, я как минимум два раза смог рассмотреть лицо встречного водителя. Это издевательство.
