So, I have had countless problems with getting bushings removed while upgrading my Front and Rear Suspension on this VW MK4 R32 Build which you can check out in the links below and it was no different today... but a couple days later I was able to receive my Rear Trailering Arm with a Rear Bearing and Rear Wheel Hub already installed making my life A LOT easier.
*"They" also say Time Is Everything.... and well it is.... These Rear Trailing Arms showed up about 2 weeks before I needed them on eBay and I added them to my wishlist thinking I might needed them. Luckily I did so as going to ECStuning.com would have cost me $1400 and by my guess 3 years waiting for the parts, when eBay was 4 days shipping and $300 later and I had everything I needed to finishing my Replacing the Rear Trailing Arm, Rear Bearing, Rear Wheel Hub on my VW MK4 R32 Project Build.

Normally I always replace the bearings when pulling the hub. Heat what is left up on that bearing and pull it off. Heat is your friend

You can also take a dremel to it, cut a slice into it so it opens up a bit to come right off. Not fun. Just work at it a bit. Or heat it up and hammer from the back side.

You have to remove the retaining clip to get the bearing off.
