So the ambient air temperature circuit supplies information for the A/C system and Turbo? I am sure for the A/C. Climate Control. Interesting. ECM is not happy. Wheel speed sensors to. I hope you get paid good for your work.

Richard 1 the ambient temp sensor reports to the HVAC Control unit, and then the HVAC control unit shares that info with the other modules!

The wiring diagram will show the size and color of each wire and its purpose.

Highest Forward Gear I wasn't able to get an OE diagram to show you guys, My friend at the VW dealer told me that Pin one on the sensor connector is the 5v wire, I Forgot to mention that in the video! Good question, I appreciate it!

I do not think that A/C works at all in the Passat. I had a vehicle that had one missing and the A/C did not work. Climate Control system would not energize the compressor control valve. Those systems are delicate.
