Hey I’ve also test driven the new 1.0 tsi polo and it’s a good car overall and has the best performance in this price range but was the old 1.2 tsi more powerful which sometimes makes second hand car a better option also I’m mostly gonna buy this car in nov-dec soo does it make sense buying that car soo late in the year as the 7th gen polo is coming to India itseems in 2022 but the price of that car will be way way more

Bro 1.0 TSI is definitely more powered than the 1.2 TSI. But if you are a car enthusiast who wants to upgrade engine performance by installing after-market parts, then 1.2 TSI is the one to buy.

Neeraj Saini yes I do wanna do after market mods to the car like an ecu remap maybe cold air intake and exhaust changes but aren’t there remaps and good mod available for the 1.0tsi as the maintenance of a dsg will be way more plus finding a good one in second hand market is a pain in the ass

Haven't heard of that. If in case there are any issues in the software, then it can be rectified by running software upgrades.

It is 15-18kmpl depending on your driving pattern. If you are too demanding on the power and always reving above 3000rpm then it will drop to 12-13kmpl. Although ARAI claims it to be 18.24kmpl for automatic polo and 17.91 for the manual. I hope this helps.

Bro Polo Highline plus is TSI 1.0 110PS, comes in manual and automatic transmission both. GT is even more expensive but no news from VW on it yet. Highline plus manual is definitely value for money. Refer to 4:48 for price.

You can adjust your driving position as it has height adjustable driving seats and tilt and telescopic steering wheel. It has good visibility overall.

Boss I see your maximum reviews , I am willing to get MPI 1 LTR BS6 Compliant Engine, VW Polo , My usage is quite low , maximum 10,000 km In a year and mostly in city , rare highways , Please guide should I go for this Car or will be poor on high hills and road due to less PS & Torque . In city, mpi engine would only be satisfactory. There you don't need much power. On hills and Highways, mpi wouldn't be a fun to drive, it would be like an average car from other brands. TSI is the engine you should buy, if money is not the concern. It is always good to have more power and torque in the car. I would suggest POLO TSI.

the skoda rapid base model has no features as such; it shares only the engine with the polo; also rapid is a heavier car and so its performance won't be at par with the polo tsi; the base model rapid doesn't even have alloy wheels
