I sold my Polo GTI and got an Up GTI, for the main reason you said really. The Up GTI has a lot more personality. Obviously, there is a compromise on performance, but it is one of those cars that you do actually want to take out on a drive. I'd recommend taking one for a spin if you haven't already!

The Ups do look cool IMO, even the bobby basic versions. Definitely got to try a GTI sometime soon. Glad you’re enjoying it 👍

Great video Neil, Own one myself and totally agree with everything you have said. Lovely daily driver. I missed out on getting it with the nav system though. Congrats on the new mini, looking forward to hear your thoughts on it.

Had mine from 8k and i wish i could say the same media screen goes black , exhaust rattles ,suspension creaks, seat back reclines itself dash rattles and wheels difficult to balance i want to love it but theres too many faults

That’s bad, feel your pain 😳 Ours was perfect and cheap to run, really impressed me. It’s been replaced by a mini now and although the mini is a car you just drive for the sake of it the Polo was definitely a better daily driver.
