Great review! I have the 2014 Figo and it’s a mechanically sound car and very cheap to maintain. Two problems: very cheap, shiny plastic interior with noticeable gaps and rattles a lot. Then NVH levels, the car is not well insulated, the engine runs rough (but surprisingly quiet when idling at a stop), you hear and feel it quite a lot in city driving, in the steering wheel, pedals, and just the whole body. Where the car shines is on the highway, very stable and good steering feel. Although they are meant to be comparable, the Vivo feels like it’s in another class. It’s so refined and has a big car feel, it’s quite impressive really for a budget car!

Howzit Neo. I would say if you were to get one you wouldn’t be disappointed. However there are certain drawbacks such as the stereo, heavy steering at low speed, and possible theft risk in SA. However if none of these are a concern for you it’s hard to find better for the money 👍🏻. Hope this helps
