@@mrpumpkin8289 chain and tensioner problem is not really related to how you drive, only to the defective tensioners and over stretchy chains in pre-revised versions. All TSI engines prior to 2012 suffer this (1.2, 1.4, 2.0) and sooner or later you will face a distribution replacement... or an engine boom. Above 100.000 km you should be periodically revising that (on 2.0tsi only, luckily you can check how good or bad it is using just a Vag-com cable and software). Apart from that fact, which is common to all TSIs < 2012, the 1.4TSI 122 has an specific problem, and this is that over time, 80% of the turbos fail, wastegate doing weird things and thus engine behaving bad. In that cases, usually non-reparable, new turbo incoming. And yes, you can find users that had no problems with the turbo, but those are in the lucky 20%. The 80% fail rate is true, mostly at between 100.000 and 140.000 km, although there cases that failed earlier like at 80.000, others a bit later, but most common in that range. Turbo problem doesn't seem to be related to if the car is stock o remapped.

2014 1.4tsi 125 bhp is a totally different engine to this. It is belt driven, so no chain problem, and also basically different in everything, so bye bye to the 80% rate of turbos failing in the 1.4tsi 122 bhp. 1.4tsi 125 bhp is an overall good engine with no known endemic problems, if only a bit slow, depending on your driving style. On the 1.4tsi125, you can expect 160 bhp and 270 Nm with Stage 1, which is a nice improvement

shAd0w Φιλε αν το βρεις με ενα 10αρι , 1ο σταδιο φιλτρο προγραμμα εξατμιση με 160 αλογα οπως το συγκεκριμενο ... πιστευω ειναι πολυ καλα , το αμαξι μονο τα τυπικα σερβις χρειαζεται αλλα εγω το εχω χειροκινητο ... στα dsg δεν γνωριζω τι συμβαινει

@@szilveszter10 No way you can get 160 bhp fron a 1.4tsi 122 on Stage 1 on a dyno that is not lying like a demon. Typically 145 bhp, maximum 150.
