Once you get them fitted and suspension set up just weld them on so they cant move. We use to just cut the OG vw bracket off a bay window and weld it on to the splitwindow torsion bar housing.

I would like to find a set for a bug so I could avoid cutting tube to convert over to IRS my 59 deluxe..I would still weld in solid after I was happy with it...does anybody sell what I want?

68/69 bay window with CE horns is a way better method of converting to irs then you get bigger drum brakes in the rear.

Drum brakes better than disc brakes?

@@jehugarcia on the rear disks don’t really add to the stoping power, think of the drum shoe surface area its way bigger than a calliper pad. Most disk conversions I do I just do the fronts and leave the drums in the rear.
