Nice diag and repair. Goes to show that a visual inspection sometimes saves us a lot of time and customer expense.

Nice find on the loose injector connector. The engine sounded pretty good when you got through with it.

This has probably been asked a thousand times before, but I'm curious. The rides your working on seem to be older then you, and probably where past there production before you got a license. What's the story on how you came to know these vehicles so well? (Sorry about the age crack, I mean it as a compliment not an insult.)

floydiod My arms look quite young don't they! LOL I'm in my 40's and have been working on VWs since '92... so I've been learning as I go since then. We get a good variety of cars coming to the shop... there does seem to be a wave of older models right now. I don't record everything I work on, so there's a lot that you guys don't see.

Justin Vancouver Just a little tear down... I was lucky to find the loose connection. It's always good to do a wiggle test / check on connectors!

Haven't seen a 16v in ages... not sure why. Maybe I didn't service them as well as I thought I did... I was still an apprentice in those days. D'oh!
