A sign for a bad heater core is scanning the vehicle in address work 08 witch is your hvac system and if there is no fault and you getting no heat or heat coming from just one side.

Hi , My 2017 Sharan has the front vents(driver and passenger), I have noticed that front left passenger side have hot air, front passenger right and driver both side don't give out heat , only blow cold air, and the heating is only done normal from the rear passenger side of the car. The recirculation flap under passenger side and blower motor passenger side is work normal, garage scan obd only misfire fault code, not related, is it possible the blend door actulator for driver side problem?do you think what’s wrong🙏🏻

I got it from Matco amazon should have it.Type it as: VW coolant vacuum filler.

The heat on my 2013 tiguan only works on the driver side. The passenger side blows cold air. Could that be the heater core that does that ?

Yes, it’s the heater core. I’m currently going through the same exact thing.

I have a 2013 Tig and the heat on driver side works, passenger side it does not.

It happened to my tiguan 2014 today.. driver side hot and passenger side cold. Did you guys manage to fix yours? Can you post an update here in the comment section, because not everyone with DIY have the right tool like that vacuum tester. Thanks in advance.

if no faults related to the heat actuators yes go ahead and replaced the heater core.

Can I get away with just changing the seals and not the clamps

Also sometimes I just put the old seal back just make shore not to damage them cause the new ones sometimes don’t seem to fit right.
