What if the outer door handle doesn't work but the inside does how does one fix that.?

I would consider replacing the doorlock itself before its too late

Same here. Door won't open from outside but will from inside. Why does replacing the lock fix that? Seems like the handle issue

@@nino09245 most likely small amounts of water makes it's way into the part one way or another. And assuming you'r car has central locking, over time that water, damages the circuit board
