I too prefer the pre face-lift T5, I think it's a much more handsome front. And now with everyone doing the face-lift, mines getting less common 😁

That looks super well done could do with the passenger side wing sprayed and blending in with bodywork and it would look perfect.

Hi, I'm afraid I did not use the wiring kit, although I would assume that they were plug and play.

Hi, this wasn't my vehicle so I didn't need to inform them however I suppose you would just notify them in the same manner you would with any mod, I believe this wouldn't effect your insurance anyhow but always worth checking.

So I dont need to fit the T5.1 slam panel? Can I fit the bumper with the lower spoiler already fitted to the bumper?

The slam panel is the same so no need to change it and yes, you can have the lower spoiler fitted prior to fitting.

Thanks bumper is on but grill wont sit flush bottom of the lights and wont match up with the holes on the slam panel . Everything else lines up .

No mods needed apart from the rewiring of a couple of wires for the headlights, other than that it's all bolt on.

You will save alot of money if you get used parts, these are readily available on places like Ebay or certain VW groups, all in all you should be looking between £700 to £1000 and dont forget that you can sell the parts you take off.
