Man NOW THAT IS TOO COOL! You might have convinced me to not convert my Harley to a trike but rather build a VW trike from scratch and sell my Harley! CUZ I'm now 68 yrs old and luv cruisin' and two wheels on a big Harley is not really safe for my age! The trike changes all that!

I am wanting to build a VW trike, but I don't care for the long rear engine examples. Do you have videos showing how you built that bike in the video.

Grandpa here ... There used to be more info on the net about these VW trikes made in Sweden, Holland. The VW trike your seeing and many like it are done using two VW transmissions facing in opposite directions nd joined. The drive shaft has to be cut and welded to work which requires balancing for true spin rotation as not to wobble and break. If still interested do a search, you may find a few old pics but the trend seems to have died off over there. VW is much cheaper than a Harly motor any day and easy to work on and you have reverse doing it with the two transmissions. If you ever find someone selling frames, let me know. Spinal problems, no more two wheels for this old coot.

@@mikejohn1202 I was in an accident and now have a T6 SCI Complete. I own a RoadSmith RoadHawk. Love it. But I would love one of these even more.

I remember a guy back in the day called Chris Ireland. Use to have write ups in the magazine Back Street Heroes . He built one . As I remember, it had something to do with flipping the diff so that your gears worked correctly. . I'm sure if you dug about you would find the write-up. It was a nice trike as well.
