Nothing like that - owner just hasn't done proper research. Think new XUV300 that is going to launch with 130 PS/230 NM engine - it will be faster than this Virtus by what I am hearing. Or think Ford Ecosport TDCI (of course not available now), Bolero Neo 10 Optional with real differential for places where Virtus would probably not last much longer, Nexon Diesel for power, safety, and water wading capability.....So just that he thinks SUVs as Dabba, does not automatically mean dabba in actuality 😂😂 And by the way, he says 16 Lacs for this Virtus...in that you get better SUVs above compact ones. No doubt Virtus is a good car but just that he says that SUVs are dabbas for him (or you for that matter who judges him as an expert based on a baseless comment), doesn't automatically make him learned and informed about cars. It needs much work and sincere interest in all car segments.

@@mannsinghs not SUVs he said "Compact SUV", a car having a length of just 3995mm and raising ground clearance to 200mm can't become an SUV,they are just overgrown Hatchbacks You can't join 2 buses and call it a "COMPACT TRAIN", every vehicle has it's own character and purpose in it's original form- and that can't be spoiled by just putting "COMPACT"..."MINI"..."MICRO" etc :)

And Virtus/Slavia is now rated 5 stars( in Both adult passenger and child safety )in latest and more stricter GNCAP ratings ! Only car in India after VW Taigun and Skoda Kushaq ! Out of so many cars being produced in India, VW/Skoda occupying the Top 4 positions ! Incredible Safety and Built Performance ! Tata & Mahindra also doing good ! I really don't understand why VW has not provided a manual version of the 1.5 L turbo. The DCT in India is not reliable and many people avoid the DCT. A CVT transmission is far more reliable.

As VW priority atmost safety to passenger, as I read from some sources VW intentionally provide drum brakes for rear because drum brakes are basically mechanical brakes always reliable failure chances is very less but disc brakes are Hydraulic one chance of failure so if front brakes fails, rear brakes will saves the lives....not for any cost cutting.. I bought the virtus on 23rd july, 3300 kms down, reported the problem of car pulling to the left side in first service. Since they vw and myself are trying to solve the problem that why the car is pulling to the left, we’ve now concluded that showroom’s both automatic and manual demo cars are pulling to the left on any road you give them. They we went on to drive the slavia and same. Slavia pulls to the left. When you go for demo check the car. You hold the steering and adjust it to the straight, 5-10 seconds later car will start pulling to left. Rather than this thing i would like to tell you guys. I waited for xuv 700 since 1st day of booking and delivery was due in october 2022, i bought it only because i was impressed with virtus, driving pleasure and ride quality❤️. But these problem is eating me up now

@@vinaykaushikinvisble i got a super heavy discount i purchased virtus 1.0 highline automatic..it has every feature available except sunroof and ventilated seats .. if any store has 2022 model available it should cost you around 16 lakhs including highest insurance (zero debt ,engine parts everything) and a 4 year service package which basically means zero charges for 4 years even on engine oil

So if anyone considering to buy virtus can easily consider the automatic beacuse it does let you drive according to your gear preference it has paddle shifters which are very easy to operate..you can up from right and down from left on your steering and that roowithout even switching to the manual mode... if anyone has any doubts about this car I'll be more than happy to clear those

I hate VW cars are so good but they break down frequently and on top of that VW service centre loot people too much. Any small problem will cost min. 15000 rs. Too much looting
