I've got the technology package but I haven't got the virtual cockpit I bought the car second hand so I don't know why it wasn't included wish it was fitted mine is Daytona grey thanks for the video

Went with the technology package on mine and the s-tronic box. Wish I'd optioned heated rear seats and/or a sunroof just for passenger comfort. Paint I'm unsure about. Left it brilliant black but know it's going to be pain to maintain. Also glad to see the flat bottomed steering wheel combined with the technology package. The online configurator reverts to a round wheel if you select it and my dealer was adamant I lose the wheel.

I wish they had that extended LED pack on an A3. Also, would love to have a heated steering wheel too.

Daytona grey.... I had a demo with with the virtual cockpit. Once you picked a certain view I left it in the position. Waste of money and just a novelty value. Went for the sound and comfort pack in the end as I thought the B&O stereo was more worthwhile. I also picked the LED extended pack and the car looks fantastic with the extra ambient lighting. But again once you pick one colour I leave it. I see no value in rotating over 24 colours just before you drive off. So I leave it in purple! I’ve got Daytona grey Avant Black Edition, advances keyless go, led pack, b and o, reverse camera and the boot entry with foot sensor.

Yes Virtual Cockpit is an expensive option however on VW models like the Golf and Tiguans it is now standard. You could have a different colour almost every day of the month 😅

How do you find the boot entry sensor? We've always found it a bit tricky to use.

Stable Lease I struggled to begin with because I waved my leg under the car and it only opened sometimes. However I find if you actually put your foot under the sensor, so lift your leg up and put it under the sensor, rather than just swinging your leg under the car it works every time. Closing too using the leg same method but the boot beeps like a reversing lorry! Always use the button once my hands are empty. When I said the virtual cockpit was a waste of money I didn’t really mean that. It’s great technology and the clarity of the screen is great. But having the larger screen in the middle also providing the same Information it just didn’t seem worth it once the novelty value had gone

When you have the 12.3 inch display which takes less time to look at, why have the pop up screen? The sat nav can be seen simultaneously on both , why not have all the functions on the larger screen? Interesting video as always.

Yes we wish they got rid of the centre screen. Seeing new models like the A8, A7 and A6 move away from the stuck on screen is a good sign.

when i ordered my black edition 2020 i asked for the extended ambient lightning, apparently you cant get it unless you get also the comfort pack which makes no sense. either it was some kind of error in their system that day but he couldn't so just ordered it. but can you add the extended lightning after purchase?

Thinking of getting one on a lease! Black edition 1.4 s tronic, but standard black, 18 wheels deselect suspension and de badge and tech pack, would you say that’s nice, I don’t really like white, but would prefer the contrast with the black bits!

I bought my A4 from the stock list and so I got nappa leather and folding mirrors for free but no extended led... in the end I thought it was a good compromise as I really got a good price for the car, but I’m still pissed off about the missing colour led ambient lights .... oh, and no storage pack either, that’s another outrageous option that should be standard on S line or Black Edition spec...
