It was nice seeing a picture of a Volkswagen Beetle ,in the colors of a Police car, White with Green, I am not sure if it*s Germany, normally it would say Polizei, or something like that, or it could be the Mexican Beetle which I believe lasted until 1990 I believe.

Happy Memorial Day weekend to the whole VW Life crew!!! Love all your videos, envious of the crew and the garage as its poring rain, and I have to pull my instrument cluster out, oh well, tomorrow! Hey I have a question, how do you guys come up with all the cool names for your VW's?
@VWLifeVW4 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks Slim Pickens! We hope your little project goes well. Everybody has their own way. Gary likes to use ex presidents names. But we all kind of have our own way we do it and some people don't name their VW believe it or not

I wish that I could apprentice in your shop. I can sweep up and put away tools. I can clean and detail parts. You should have " Work shops" for people like me that want to learn about VWs. I learn much watching y'all work. Cooperation as well as attitude. " Check your 'ttude at the door". There needs to be one person in charge to keep everyone "on task". Watching y'all dismantle and reassemble makes me realize that there is a "process" in play. You cover the topics completely. Question: I was wondering how to check the brake fluid if the master cylinder was under the gas tank? ( I still haven't been able to gain access to the "60 field Ghia". I might need to become a squeaky wheel about this) edit #1-I love the milk crate with wheels. Edit#2-" I see red bug and I want to paint it black"
@VWLifeVW5 жыл бұрын
You have to pull off the wheel to get to the reservoir if there is not a remote tank. There is a drawing of it on the Wolfsburgwest site. Thanks Ivor!
