VXR Brake Upgrade.....Fitting EBC Orange stuff pads plus fluid and disc change.

Astra H VXR brake upgrade. Fitting the EBC orange stuff pads and motul 660 brake fluid. Also fitting a set of J-hook rear discs. Im doing this upgrade for a bit more consistent brake performance when driving hard, especially on track where brake fade (fluid boiling) is very easy to achieve.
Average dot 4 brake fluid has a dry boiling point of around 250 degrees centigrade. The Motul fluid I use in the video has a dry boiling point of around 350 degrees centigrade.

Never use Copper Grease on the back side of a brake disc mounting face as this can increase the Disc run out lead to DTV (Disc Thickness Variation) causing brake judder

@@boosthit811 Advice by brake manufacturers is not to. Use on the flange part that centres the wheel but don't use copper grease as it speeds up galvanic corrosion. Also ruins rubber parts and isn't needed to stop brake squeal with modern shims.

How have the brake discs been holding up, had any issues?

They have been ok.....quite hard on the discs tho. Like a course grit sandpaper

Orangestuff suck, i tested them, for my trackcar, id rather take rs29 or dsuno than this, the quality and the feeling is on another lvl.. they r cheap but, you know why after some trackdays.
