Dude who grabbed Jello's mic here. That was a fun night and thanks for posting. I can see a lot of old friends and it brings back some great memories. The On Broadway was six blocks from my house so we practically lived at that joint in the early 80's. I too have have the whole show on video. Interestingly, the scene where Jello kicked me off the stage for wearing a tie dye was not included. Guess he later realized how f-ing hypocritical it made him look.

I went to their very first show at the Mab and thought it was a parody act. Soon we realized how good many of the songs were and discovered just how good they were. Jello still had the whiff of the college Zappa fan and theater student he was.

weak dude, only show Ive been able to go to was one without jello too and I had some pretty low expectations for it cuz no jello means no dk so it wasnt a real show really but the pit had like 7 people max and everyone was falling. never again.

You've obviously never been to a hardcore punk show. Singing along was encouraged. I also thought that being an individual was too. Apparently Jello made the same kind of uninformed snap judgment as the jocks at my high school who beat up punks and people of questionable gender orientations.

jadrumkob It was because the mics were shit in most venues and would often shock him. Put a shield of rubber and you have an instant solution.
