Getting trapped by that arch-vile at the 13-minute mark was far more brutal than what I intended for that sequence - normally, you might kill the two revenants one after another before you unlock the arch-vile, but I can see that wasn't the outcome here - apologies for that awful mishap. Otherwise, nice job surviving the outcome!

Nice Video again and i I also got stuck on the map for a while 🤣✌ but it's a fun Map and get's really big and the Midi is very cool, sometimes you think someone is breathing xD The Trap with the Rev's and the Archie, Luckily it was normal for me. Rev's came first on by one and than the Archie lol, don't no why the Trap was so Evil by you, but you did it without Dying, very nice. You are a Pro 😄😜👍

Firstly addressing the elephant in the room, but this map wouldn’t be nearly as good without the best MIDI in the entire megawad to hold your hand as you get lost. Secondly, I can understand the hate this map gets but I just disagree with the hate completely. I never feel bored getting lost in this map, and Valk is really good at keeping seemingly seperate parts of the map somehow connected. A+ stuff. Edit: The required rocket jump to the mega is very unkind. I feel Valk could have placed an Invul on the crate you jump from to remind the players of the rocket jump in E3M6.

I really like how the map opened up old areas at the end, but it does waste time trying to figure out parts that you can't access early on.

it is possible to skip the fight early on in the map, where you get locked into the room at 3:30. I did it by accident the first playthrough; the linedef is right at the edge so if you go slow you can trigger the trap but not get locked in.

Yes, that map is a bit too long and a bit too obscure with some of its secrets, I can see why people don't like it. But holy damn the music makes it so worthwhile, second only to Atmosphere (map 31) I can tolerate all its faults just by listening to it :D

That's my typical experience with lots of TNTR maps. First 30% of the time you explore, find occasional secrets, engage in battles, have fun. Next 30% you're forced to backtrack and look for rooms that were open the whole time, but never at your sight because of confusing design following the formula "everything is a switch - everything is an entrance", giving you enough fatigue to spend the rest 40% dragging your arse to the exit. And that's why I don't want to revisit TNTR.
