the only thing i can think with that last secret is that it's the only big alcove on that side with 3 segments instead of 2, but... that's still kind of a stretch?

Wow that was a long one. It is funny that in the beginning you just can go to an exit that almost kills you but let's you skip the whole map. That is neat. But this is the map with the most enemies in this Wad so far. I mean in the "Junkfood 2" where you played with Spectere on a livestream there was over 5000 enemies in one map but that one is a strange one :D I think it was a good idea to only show a practiced run of this map. The concept with going through areas from earlier maps is very cool. I watched Decinos video of "Hell Revealed 2 Map 32 Playground" today and it has 1651 enemies in it. This map here is even crazier. It was also very interesting that you explained all the strategies and what all can go wrong. That was enjoyable. I saw in the playlist there is Map 33 Deja Vu 2 and it is 2 hours 10 minutes. Does that mean instead of 2064 enemies you have 4128 enemies? I guess I have to wait until I am at this map in the playlist. But that sounds even more insane than this map :O But for now we are back with normal maps. I still enjoy this playlist a lot :)

You may have overcomplicated the yellow keycard, but nope, you're not dumb. That last secret has no visible clues or tells, it's a true blue wall humper. No idea why Skill wouldn't recess the wall, or at least put in a differing lighting effect. He's normally good at making understandable puzzles out of secrets.

The first secret map is very cool. I love the sky when you are in the outside. It looks great. When I saw the name of this map, I already knew it will be full with Revenants. So this map is absolutly not for me. I hate Revenants with their stupid Homing rockets. It is already bad enough when you have a bunch of Revenants in narrow corridors. But combine that with crushers is a death sentence for me. And for once in a while the enemy count is not crazy. The secret exit was hidden quite well. I found it nice that you put a note in where you said the rest of the video will be secret hunting. I play Doom Wads myself and I like watching secret hunts in videos. Especially when you figure the solution out by yourself without Doom Wiki or Doom Builder. So yes, A good map but I would not enjoy myself playing it because of all the Revenants. I even prefer Archviles to Revenants. Yeah maybe that's just me. That map was short in compare to all the other maps in Episode 2 so far. But I already saw in the playlist that map 32 is 1 hour 10 minutes so I guess we are back with big maps and crazy enemy counts. I will watch right away :)

Ruins of Skania from Sunlust! Great cheeky finish in that map. This is a really fun, mysterious adventure map that makes me think of Strength and Anger in Sunlust… but I’m not sure which of the duo made that one. :) gg!

Only just seeing this now. Don't feel bad, I'm not happy with how inconsistent the final fight is either. I have a method that's a bit more consistent but I still probably should have done a bit more tweaking to make it a bit less RNG based. I'm happy with the rest of the map but I felt the need to put a massive fight at the end when I think my strengths are more small scale encounters. Got a little too ambitious there haha. Great run though! Very enjoyable video.

Ribbiks (and dannebubinga) like to mess with their players who collect all the items when playing. There was a near impossible to get Visor in Map4- Sol (you'd need a Double ArchVile Jump to get it without idclip), and the well hidden Armor Bonus in Map 13- Ruins of Skania. 🤓

Fully agreed on the Plasma. I've made my own plasma.wad that changes the sound effect to the one that is used in Sunlust, and I load it with every WAD that uses the default plasma sound. Big qol improvement.

I like to use the high quality version of the vanilla sound. It's a lot more harmonious and less shrill than the compressed one. (I also replace the plasma impact sound for a slightly more explosive one, but that may be beyond most non-MBF21 wads, not sure)

Okay it is that time now. Secret exit hunting. The name of the map already scares me. And I did not notice that your voice was more quiet than normal. Well I guess I do watch KZbin with a Dolby Surround 5.1 setting. And I liked this map. Yeah it was hard but the design was great. And you have a lot of ammo too. I am surprised that there was not that many Cyberdemons considering the map name. I thought it would be something like 10 or 20 Cyberdemons in the entire map. A few that you can crush of course and a few once that go down while infighting. But also a few you have to kill yourself. Anywhy. This time it only was 6 secrets. And congrats on finding the secret exit so quick. Secret maps are usually very cool so I wonder what we will have in map 31. Oh yeah and you did not die which is also good. I have nothing against the Nightvision goggles. I like them. I know Spectere is not really a fan of them :D But oh well.

Alright. Map 14 is interesting. The start until your first death seemed not so difficult. And really, after your first death you came back 1 week later? Okay. The tribute message is nice but also sad. I think it is a good way to remember someone you knew. The one secret behind the muddy waterfall is almost classic. There are so many games that have things behind waterfalls :D And the Plasma gun and switches. The creator himself said in one earlier comment, that you love missing switches :P The maze trap was very mean. But that is also a very cool idea. Just turn a room into a maze and only when you find the exit the maze goes away too. The second death was kinda unfortunate. But there was no way that you could have guessed that there are 2 waves of enemies. Or even more than 2 waves. I say that right now, because I paused the video to write some things before I continue. Oh boy the secret count get's bigger too. 9 Secrets is a lot for a "Doom" Wad. Well I played Wads where some levels have 26 secrets but at least they are mostly easy to find. That last room was a big mess. So many enemies and after one button is pressed another bunch of enemies teleport it and it seemed it never would end. That was a very cool map. But for sure it is not easy anymore. I enjoyed that run, well the runs as usual :)

Map 13 is another greatly designed map. But the difficulty is very high. In the last video you said, you hope not all the future maps will be so long and tough like map 12 was but here we are. The next 10 videos or so in the playlist are all very long. So I can imagine how the next maps will be. It's a shame that you died so close before the ending of the map. Well, at least it only was one death but still. That last room is insane. Archviles and Revenants together in a wide open area usually means big trouble. Especially so many of them. Yeah Episode 2 is very thrilling so far. This is gonna be a crazy journey but I am here for it :) Not that I ever could deal with that kind of skill but it is enjoyable and awesome to see that you can :)

Okay, I did not expect the beginning map of a new episode would be all "Hell Revealed" crazy. Man, what happend to the nice looking office maps? Now we are in crazy-town. That is a pretty rough start. The design of the map is very cool. It is also interesting that you mention "Plutionia 2". I played it on "Hurt me Plenty" and I did get all the way to map 29. But than I stopped. That was a hard one too. I will watch that after I am done with the "Dominus Diabolicus". Because you said, you have it on the channel :) Oh and teleporting Archviles are always bad. Even in this map. I am not a fan of teleporting Archvile Bastards :D And wow did it suck, when you finally learned that the Archviles get crushed. Oh you could have saved a lot of ammo. I would feel betrayed by the game in that scenerio. But oh well. And in all honesty I thought this map had over a 1000 enemies. But the number 777 is also pretty cool. That was very exciting. And congrats on surviving this map with no deaths and blind. That is skill right there. I think with my kind of skill level I could not do it. This wad is getting more interesting with every new map.

11:08 I feel like that fight in the area with the yellow key was much harder in my run...because I didn't kill all the enemies elsewhere beforehand. So that's on me. Haha Yeah, I don't think it's a good general rule to say co-op monsters make maps easier. I think the plasma right from the start of the first map makes it easier. But the imps and revanant right out of the starting room is much harder than the absolutely nothing you face without co-op monsters. Without them, the first monster isn't for several rooms, and it's a zombieman. 🤷‍♂

The Pinky room and the Mancubus room on map 31 were combined into one, which I found hilarious. The music dances between your left and right ear because that's what the original Plunge Saw (map 32 custom) by Bucket did.
