6:55 this is how I always imagine music in the 18th century was truly like. The harpsichord really is the only instrument that makes me instantly travel into that elegant period of time.

definitely think this is more appropriate than a grand piano. Sounds good on a fortepiano as well though.

Very wonderfully played! I like this version. I think I'm still slightly partial to the piano version since I've been listening and playing it on the piano for years. But I definitely give this rendition two thumbs up!

Amazing. I just love variations n. 2,3 and the perfect sincopato in variation 5. I also love the minor variation, so clear, but with a strong harmony and temperament. Variation 12 is the best version I've ever heard, also because I find the harpsicord the most appropriate instrument for KV 265. Just lovely! Great job.

Actually this was written about 40 years after tge original simple version came out in 18th century

Mr. Martinoli, thank you. At first I thought the variations were going to be played in a humdrum, dull fashion, but you paced things deliberately and very effectively--the theme should be first played without much interpretation. What I liked best in your playing was the humor which was so ably demonstrated by your tempos and phrasing. Mozart, who had a great sense of humor, would have been pleased, I know he would. Thanks for this delight.

J'ai étudié ce morceau. Vous jouez beaucoup trop rapidement la huitième variation! Ce n'est absolument pas ce qu'a voulu Mozart dans sa partition! Dommage, car je vous considère cependant comme un excellent musicien. Alain. Pianiste classique.

Désolé. Mais cette huitième variation de Mozart est jouée beaocoup trop rapidement. Personnellement, ce n'est pas moi, ce que j'ai appris. Je vous signale que le rythme de la musique zst précisé sur la participation de Mozart. Merci de respecter ses recommandations.
