hmmm For me the camera work capture's the spirit of 'allegro' in this movement: lively, with lots of energy and movement. The editing team got it right and captured the excitement of the piece.

This is an incredible video and. The music is masterfully performed. Mozart is so inspirational. To those that criticize the video...how quickly we complain about something that didn't exist only a short time ago. Previn, Mutter, and Schott are unbelievably talented and inspirational!

The music is *totally* flawless. How Mozart managed it remains a mystery.

Comentar a Mozart sería la mayor de las arrogancias, lo fantástico, lo genial, lo sublime no se comenta, solo escuchar y que la armonía de de las notas nos transporten al éxtasis.

@frostbritain yes, but it wasn't 22 different angles, it was the same angles shown in unison with the instrument being played. Yes, it could of been made better, but i does not bother me in any way.

You should listen to a performance on period instruments if you want to hear the "real" piece. Most of Mozart's sarcasm is lost here. Mozart always gets over-polished, especially when on modern instruments, his music is more raw than people realize
@johnward33928 жыл бұрын
The piano is the only one of these instruments that changed since Mozart's time and now has a more brilliant tone. I'm sure Mozart would have approved.
@nottinghillad7 жыл бұрын
Its a testimony for Mozart's piano composition. He wasn't writing for the modern piano yet somehow he just gets better with a concert grand- as though he were composing 150 years ahead of his time

Can you pls send a link on period instruments? This performance is way too fast and shallow
@frostbritain13 жыл бұрын
@TheMagicBolt Nonsense. I count 22 angle changes in the first 30 seconds of the video. This averages to 1.36 seconds spent on an angle before a change. Not only are the constant angle changes very disruptive to the video, I actually find them to disrupt the flow of the music. While many angles is a good thing in film, changing them abruptly and too frequently is not.

Two people came on here and disliked this...somebody needs to bang their heads together, like what Moe did to Curly and Larry in the Three Stooges.
@frostbritain13 жыл бұрын
@WhiteButterfly87 Actually, I said nothing about the sound being affected by the video. I said that I found the video to disrupt the flow of the music. Stimuli of other perceptive mediums CAN interfere with the experience of a primary sensory stimulus. Example: Take your favourite music and listen to it in a room which smells horrible, is uncomfortably warm, and has flashing strobe lights. The sound is not directly affected but the experience is now much less enjoyable.

@ShagBaby You obviously have no education in film. Do you have any idea how boring one angle would be? It used the rule of 3rds perfectly. Usually you are supposed to have 3 different angles on one person. In this case it was as if all three of them were one person, playing ONE masterpiece, with 3 angles of them.
