I can confirm Blackie's 5 points comment about Tony. I played bass in a band with Tony, he's a hard hitting, tasteful, one take drummer in the studio and live he's just as ferocious as we've all seen in videos. He has a great sense of music theory and he's absolutely a non condescending person.

connor 1 second ago I love W.A.S.P and Blackie is the driving force here, but JFC, listening to him talk about former band members and what happened to them is like listening to Paul and Gene from KISS. 🙄 Great show in Milwaukee this week. With Steve Riley and Randy Piper perhaps it would be possible. Much more complicated Chris Holmes, however. He and Blackie were like brothers, but after a thousand messes and especially the whole royalties thing, I think it is almost impossible to see Chris playing with W.A.S.P. again . And that makes me very sad. Every time he appears in the acknowledgements, during "i wanna be somebody," the audience screams.

You kicked Tony out of the band after the first album was done. Probably because of his smack addiction. From what Chris Holmes has said in interviews. You were the shot caller Blackie. You wrote the songs of coarse your gonna want your face on the cover of all the albums. Your management probably elbowed you into it. Such a downplay man. Just tell the truth.

@rushshukla46362 жыл бұрын
Tony didn't play on The Last Command man. That was Steve Riley! And yeah it's pretty lame until they got Frankie Banali who was brilliant but Tony had that special technique of playing the outside of his drums. That's why when you listen closely to the debut you can hear those amazing ripple effects. He was a pioneer who was chewed up and spat out by the industry. Didn't even get to tour the album which is the biggest insult of all.
