13:14 this is the replica of the buddha stature which was destroyed by the taliban in Afghanistan. In the time of Rama 3, many deadbody were thrown here to eat by the Vultures during the pandemic at that time

When I last visited Bangkok, I walked from the Phra Pinklao Bridge to the royal barge museum and saw a little bit, how the “normal” people live. It was very interesting. No tourists. Maybe you could show us something like this? Greetings from Germany😊

When I was a kid more than 50 years ago we used to climbed inside this mountain it very dangerous but kids still kids it look funny in our mind.To day they closed already.

In 1849, cholera was a serious epidemic from Penang first. Then it spreaded to Bangkok, known as the "hail of the year of the rooster"40,000 people died throughout the year which Sra-ket temple was for cremations caused a group of vultures to go down and ate corpses in the temple courtyard

OMG! I saw a replica of the Buddhas of Bamiyan in the cave. (The Buddhas of Bamiyan in Afghanistan were carbon-dated to 544-595 CE and 591-644 CE. They were blown up and destroyed in March 2001 by the Taliban.)

Haha. You remind me of how the Montréal Roman Catholic equivalent - St Joseph’s Oratory - has escalators up to the basilica.
