Ah! What a beautiful clock and how pleasant is the sound of chiming at every quarter hour and striking the hours after fourth quarter sequence at every hour!

What a beautiful tone this one has Edward. I think you are right, this would have been a costly clock when new. It has a gorgeous dial as well and the two registers above the time register give it a slightly scientific feel I think.
