It is so true that your first job is depended on your connection and local experience. This is common sense if you play the role as an employer, anywhere in the world. This is usually built up in your college/university years by working as p/t or practicum and/or volunteer experience. Many local Canadians work and study at the same time, supporting own lives and tuition fees. Some fresh grad have beautiful CVs and being competitive. They won't have to wait too long, or not affordable to wait, to get our f/t job after graduation. I've met international students got their f/u jobs right after graduation with their volunteer experience and good references. Of course, it also depends on how you proceed your job search and what kinda jobs you're interested. If you're not a good fit to the positions you're looking for, no feed back from employers after sending 50+ CVs is not a surprise. No matter what, it is more challenging for fresh grad getting their 1st f/t job. Good luck to ALL!

Elon Musk, a real Canadian, has already told you which country to choose.
