Nice theory. But in the comic books Narissa and Cassidy do indeed fight over the Heart of Kandrakar, not Meridian. In fact, there is no heart of Meridian. Elyon is referred to as the Light of Meridian.

it IS the heart of Kandrakar, only it was absorbed in a different pendant at the time. (maybe Nerissa took it after she killed Cassidy and didn't want to hand it over, so the Oracle had no choice but to absorb it out and replace the pendant. you can see that Nerissa still posesses the blue necklace, now empty, when she gives it to Elyon in A is for Anonymus. it is only after that, that the blue jewel represents the heart of Meridian. before that, the heart was Elyon, not some object.)

@mikkkel669 Because earth needs ground to occur. Fire, water and oxygen can occur provided there is the right atomic combination. For example, water is hydrogen and oxygen so Irma just combines a fuckload of hydrogen and oxygen atoms to make water. Same with heylin, and in Taranee's case all you need it a flammable substance and a spark. She can manipulate atoms to make gas and generate a small spark with friktion. Plants are not made of elemental atoms alone- they need the ground to spawn.
