I echo your sentiments on this one - absolutely love the artwork and I can see there's lots of good juice in the book and the imagery. However, I have recently been decluttering my deck collection, and I have to say the top reason for letting go of wonderful, rare/out of print or original decks is the cardstock. I know it's a tricky one - lots of gloss/plastic makes them more durable, but I definitely prefer a natural feel and no longer back decks with heavy laminating/coating. Mercifully they didn't ship to Australia in this instance haha. Thank you for your review 🙂

The gilding is just like the gilding of the Wisdom of Hafiz Oracle (also by the same creators). (Another gorgeous deck.) It definitely isn’t my favorite, but I don’t really mind it. I am so in love with this deck, it could have any type of gilding and I would be happy though. 😃

Thank you for the walkthrough! I just received my deck and I agree that the Art is beautiful and the book is great. I am honestly disappointed that what I received felt like a mass market deck, though. Even my signed card is bent up from the way US Games packaged it. :( I just realized that I really may be a card snob as the newer Blue Angel decks have much better cardstock than this deck did and not at a kickstarter price. I do hope that you feel better soon!

Yes I do agree, it feels like Mass Market to me also, however I do love the artwork, book, and box. Very high quality to me. I am probably a cardstock snob also...LOL It's not a game changer for me, but definitely not my favorite. I'm so sorry to hear your signed card got bent, yeah I wasn't too thrilled with the way it was shipped either. 💖 Thank you so much for watching, it is greatly appreciated.
