Please lah! We are NOT a Chinese country… Singaporean Chinese do not have more rights or preferential treatment than Singaporean Malay or Singaporean Indian or Singaporean Eurasian. We are all Singaporean regardless of races, languages or religions. Pretty surprised that you have stayed in Singapore for some time and yet did not know this FACT. You must have stayed inside your own little PRC circle and missed out on this important fact that Singapore stressed EQUALITY among her people

Please lah! 你寫這句話……you must have stayed inside your own little PRC,PRC一點也不little,如果以土地面積來計算的話,Singapore算不算little呢?

@@lucypengau2131 ok, acknowledge that you are from Taiwan and thank you for clarification and praise for a well managed Singapore. Actually i don’t bother whether the written Mandarin is in long or short form, to me they are all Chinese characters. I’m from Singapore and so perfectly aware what is the percentage of different ethnic races within Singapore. Did i mention anything on freedom in my previous comment? Who cares whether Taiwan has more freedom than Singapore! Perhaps HK people will bother because they are equally crazy on this issue. We knew how crazy Taiwanese are over their freedom and democracy stuffs and seriously it is insignificant to Singaporean and nobody in Singapore give a damn to Taiwan’s political ideologies. Also ‘PRC own little circle’ does not mean PRC with a small land size and it actually meant ‘within PRC own social circle’. I’m also fully aware that Singapore is small in term of land size compared to Taiwan and it is absolutely unnecessary to keep on stressing it in your comment. Lastly I want to bring to your attention that even though we are small in land size, we have actually outperformed many larger size countries and glad to say with Singapore short history background, we have also outperformed Taiwan in many ways too!
Heard of a friend's boy, who went to vocational school due to technical stream, he found his passion in haircut. Now he is a boss of his own hair salon and opened a few branches during covid and another is his own boss doing windows and grills, and he hired an accountant for his company. So don't look down on them.

Yea. I saw in Australia there is a Hong Konger hairstylist and his name is Kenneth Siu on KZbin and his haircut by himself is so expensive and he totally afford all over the world vacations like taking cabs.
Henry, I am a Singaporean living in Singapore. I used to live in HK China for over 15 years. I think your video hit all the key points about Singapore but you miss one point on food. As Singaporean, we can eat tasty Singaporean food at reasonable price in Hawker Center. They are inexpensive for a rich city like Singapore. That is why many local Singaporean eat out and find Singapore liveable.
@sgjefang10 ай бұрын
Hawkers are no longer cheap nowadays. A set of fast food value meal is cheaper than eating in the hawkers. The only affordable food left are those in morning market at old towns like Yishun and Jurong. You try eating in Punggol and Bishan or Clementi.

Yes. I think I should have come up with a video to add to the Henry video. As Malaysian know the Singapore's condition. Singapore is the hardest place to deal with business. I am exporting food processing ingredients (starch) to quality starch. You can drop your eyes that Singapore can't afford to purchase quality starch to produce noodles, frozen..... From there onwards, I don't eat in the hawker center and usually I come back to Malaysia on the same day after I finish meeting with Singapore clients

@@sgjefang Yes, I agree, my place still have food stalls at coffee shops that are reasonable for now. Just grateful and really want super cheap, go Chong Pang market or Braddel mrt around that area, they have an old wet market and hawker centre.
