W King X10 vs W King D10 - Best Budget Speakers?

I have the X10 and love it. However, in this episode I agreed that the D10 was the winner. I thought the D10 had much crisper highs than the X10 while still having as much bass as the X10. D10 is definitely on my buy list. I enjoy all of your episodes, but the blind listening tests are especially interesting and entertaining!

The x10 imo looks better. And it's a bit more portable because that extra hard handle on the D10 will take up that much more space. Sound wise they both sound very similar, but I do think the D10 was slightly louder. However in the 3rd song, the D10's highs seems like it was losing control. The x10 sounded much more controlled and had better sound separation.

I take back my earlier comment about these 2 speakers. The D10 is the audiophile speaker. Way more open sounding and clearer, the sound just travels so much better and sharper.

Been watching your videos the past 3 days. I'm a PE teacher and have had the block rocker, road warrior (which was best speaker ever outside) and multiple smaller jbls like clip 4. My road warrior finally blew after many years of use. Looking for a good outdoor speaker (and in the gym). I know you will steer me right, can't have my students clownin on me. Yes for the budget price speakers that you want to take to work and not worried about getting beat up. I will say one of these two speakers right here bud I like the X10 a lot. But honestly I carry the D10 when I go play pickleball and in house at times as well

I have both and i always break in my speakers before i compare or even give a opinion ....were these speakers broken in ? .......because. Overall X10 has deeper bass and a cleaner sound with less distortion, D10 is louder and more atmospheric, can't go wrong with either, design wise I prefer the X10.

Specifications of the X-10 show that it is the beast when it comes to bass and sound. I think the issue here was about the equalizer. Both have zero distortion though. I am thinking of buying one out of the two and the X-10 has a slightly edge over the D10 but the D 10 has party mode (disco like lights) which the X 10 doesn't though I don't think that this is important as music is all about quality sound but even in this category there is a slight difference too including in terms of budget.

Love the videos! All seem to be straight to the point. Your videos have me set on w king but now im torn between the x10, d10 and t9. After this video its mostly between the d10 and t9. I originally bought the 75 watt zealot. I really liked the portability and sound but it only lasted 2.5 hrs at full volume. I returned it for the w king x10. now the battery lasted 8 hrs at 2/3 volume. I would not have gotten either if I knew that. My shift is a full 10.5 hrs. Have you actually tested the x10 for longevity? my workplace is loud and I can't hear anything at low volume. Does the D10 have a better batter?

After owning both for over a month I have the verdict for me. I like the x10, the bass is without question the deciding factor. More punchy and fuller sound. Thats my preference over the wider sounding and clearer D10.

I agree with his observations too and doubt if he mixed them up as per specifications the X-10 has an edge over the D -10 in terms of quality bass and sound. The problem with the demo I think related to equalizer of the X10 not being properly tuned.
