Finally a USBC BB3 level Speaker that I have been waiting for. I ordered mine today! This might replace my BB3 just from the convenience of USBC charging. Finally i can charge my phone, laptop, tablet and bluetooth speaker from USBC. More juice for the beach with a Powerbank, shoulder strap and SD card reader. Many features that the bb3 still doesn't have. Thanks for the video.

I noticed that the passive radiators move way less than the woofer. That tells me that this speaker might not be sealed correctly, or either they are tuned to a really high hz. Considering that they moved more on the low note, i think the seal is the problem.

It's just the way they are tuned, I've pushed on them and the woofer comes out and says out so no air is leaking, the woofer is just producing most of the bass and the passive radiators are tuned differently then like the jbl bb3 the bb3 the passives moves more and the woofer less, on this is the opposite

these are tuned lower, not higher. If they were tuned higher, the woofer would be unloading and it would be losing a lot of low frequencies.

@@drewdevon2009 no they don’t. Passive radiators aren’t “bass speakers” they are membranes that move from the airflow produced by the other speakers moving. Typically, passive radiators are supposed to have as much excursion as the main speaker drivers or more, not less. Less means there is a bad seal or they are tuned really low/really high, or specifically out of range of the drivers(frequencies they can’t reach). Hope that clears the confusion.

I wonder if I fix that, it would be getting more bass or not. Btw is the low bass (30 - 40hz) easily heard or not? Even if I tweak around the EQ would give me actual subwoofer bass even outside? I've seen ppl open it up and the back passive radiator isn't sealed or anything, it does have good bass and pretty deep but it's more or less maybe 38 hertz and up maybe a bit lower, these boombox speakers aren't really made to play super low subwoofer bass but they can achieve some, the tribit stormbox blast 2 goes as deep or lower and same with the jbl bb3, you can't really go wrong with any of them

@PRODS7V7N yeah i think it's too stiff to work properly, you could definitely replace it with a better one, battery has been great for me like 4 to 5 hours on max, it's got a huge battery in it but it's also a lot of watts so it can suck the battery down

I don't have a wired microphone that I can plug into right now, the sound is a great deal better than the Sony xg500 and it does have microphone adjustments and things in the app so you should be able to control it and the volume and echo and everything right on the wking app no problem

It's my guess that that back radiator is probably gonna be for when you link up to and it turns 200 × 250 basically separate in each channel is gonna probably drive a lot of power and it's probably really going to need it when you add that second speaker and it's a whopping 250 W

Those are mid drivers. when you use a passive radiator speaker type, u need an air tight seal that only the subwoofer interact with the passive radiator. You need to enclose those mid drivers so that it will not interfere with the sub because it might damage the mid speakers.

Different rooms makes a big difference but you might be right, I think wking focuses on hitting all the bass notes with accuracy, where the bb3 focuses on those low low bass notes, both great speakers just Differently tuned

@@Jagistreviews oh yea the WiFi edition especially plugged this won’t even touch it I told you I prefer the richness and deepness of the WiFi edition over my 310 I don’t know how Jbl does that but I prefer the bass of the WiFi even though it weaker bass power than the 310 and not to mention the clarity

Ya they are just mid drivers so they don't handle any bass so they don't move much

BB3 has slightly more Low End Bass, X20 has more Mid-Upper End Bass.
