I don't know japanese, so i don't understand subtitles* but just by looking at what you do and your visual explaining it i want to try and learn this stuff. It's sounds so alive and fun! I'm so happy that i've found your channel, you are inspirational and i wish you well!

Did you get how he's doing the mutes tho ? is it just putting very short midi notes ? I don't use logic so I'm kinda wondering if that works for any guitar vst
@gravity00x Жыл бұрын
@@Sweyn_Nero i doubt its just very short notes. i think he lowers the volume too so that the guitar plugin that he is using will transform those notes into a more "muted" state. just as he does with the slided notes (red) i.e. turning the volume all the way up.
@Sweyn_Nero Жыл бұрын
@@gravity00x oooh, it makes sense as a guitarist, I'll have to try with guitar and bass vsts whenever I wanna use them
Good god! I had never thought to emulate string noise and the slap of muted strings by using extremely short MIDI notes. That's the most valuable thing I got out of this video, for sure, it makes your guitar parts sound live.

I think it works specifically with the VST they’re using, still sounds amazing though
I'm a guitarist, and I must say that you have a very deep and intricate understanding of my instrument. All the nuances are present in the notation, and you make the virtual instruments come alive. Amazing work!

Really impressive! Shows just how far you can take virtual instruments with the right skill
This is fantastic. Clean, tight, and convincingly dynamic, with humanized loudness, timing, and strum and finger movement patterns. I can't read Japanese, but what I get from this is that it's mostly about taking the time to do thoughtful edits that recreate the general physics of how a guitar would be played. But really, to get this good, it's gonna take some serious time and dedication. You don't just pop out work like this with no effort. To some, it's going to be tedious work, but to others, it's going to be super satisfying. I'm inspired. Thank you.

I'm an audio engineer and music producer. When I record guitars, I always go for real guitar playing (through D.I or Mic'd up) because MIDI sounds fake. BUT YOU, kind Sir, showed me that Midi guitars CAN sound real and awesome, it's just that a lot of people in the music industry don't know how to use midi.

I’ve used Logic for years and thought to achieve such a sound would require expensive VSTs or go live with some of the instruments. Marvelous video, a video I’ll keep close!
I've been looking for sick guitar MIDI pattern the whole time, and the blessing of KZbin Algorithm lead me to this video. I'm using FL Studio, but pretty sure I can use similar virtual instrument to copy this! Massive thank you!

Great demonstration of your understanding of guitar. Thank you for sharing these tips for a more realistic sounding guitar in the daw.
I wish you had this in English! Even still its not too hard to follow what changes you're making to the midi and the effect they're having on sound. Amazing channel!
