I remember the scuffed days of braindead splitpush Tyndamere, around S4 or 5 - Rush statikk into botrk then ram into tower over and over again. Don't interact with your lane opponent, ult + ghost to survive ganks, TP back to lane then rinse and repeat. In lower elo/norms, most players would get frustrated or not know how to counterplay the playstyle so eventually you would be left to your own devices (especially if you proxied) - either you would win the game by splitpushing or by applying so much pressure on top lane that (hopefully) your teammates could win the game.

What Naayil said at the start was so true actually , I had 3 losing lanes (me included) and losing jungler, enemy have got baron and elder like 1 and 3 times , I messed up almost every team fight cause I’m a Darius main trying to play Yone top , but just knowing to do side laning and enemy only team fighting I basically solo won us the game ( this is an extreme example cause enemy is brain dead but it shows how impactful macro can be)

Tooltip of Gathering Storm ist not accurat in game. After first 10min you get 8 adaptive force which translates to 4,8 AD (8 * 0,6) instead of 5. So maybe that is why it stayed at 179 instead of 180?

The logic behind black cleaver first is that you have conqueror and you’re going to build Tiamat after so you have multiple stacking status effects at the peak of a team fight/skrimish. Black cleaver and conqueror both stack 6 times and Tiamat gives you an extra free stack when you hit someone. Sundered sky rush into shojin is the strongest build on Aatrox right now. Lethality and armor pen is really bad in this patch for the same reason crit adcs are literally dealing 0 damage right now. Every item lost 5-10 ad, so the stats that are meant to make ad stronger (lethality, armor pen, crit, attack speed to an extent) are at an inherent disadvantage and get weaker as the game progresses meanwhile %hp damage, hp stacking and healing become stronger. I have a 90% wr with Viego bork rush in 20 games this split. Try playing any champion that can rush Bork+cut down rune right now and you’ll have a very high win rate if you’re playing like a human being. Melee champs not your cup of tea? Don’t worry, next patch they’re reverting the mitigated %hp damage on ranged champs so literally any auto attack champ in the game can buy it.

The only reason W max vlad is strong is because it allows him to safely play the early game and potentially win early matchups that were previously impossible. Because Aatrox is already weak early and vlad had to win against Aatrox before lv6, W max Vlad just lets Aatrox play free early on. People are just braindead and not thinking why they win or they lost.

They do take phase rush ofc but simply Aatrox has no kill pressure and enough push power early to make it bounce back& freeze, thus makes it free lane for vlad. You do outscale but at lv7 when Aatrox has Q and anti heal, Vlad will suffer until both have 2 cores. Thus, you take Flash Ignite as Vlad for early pressure. Maybe not in KR/CN superserver though.

@@WIDOWEDBYCHOICE FYI. Was curious and went search for the matchup. Many winning game above Master of KR, NA, and EUW, Vlad players seem to favor Aery and flash ignite. So yes, vlad has early kill potential against Aatrox and as long as you can make a lead against Aatrox (cs exp or kill) until his first back, you can win the matchup. Not easy for sure, but possible.
