I also defected from North Korea I was born in 1994 in Pyongyang city My parents were relatively wealthy by North Korean standards However, there were many power outages, and I rarely felt full with meals. When I was a senior middle school student, my father was arrested by the police for treason, and my life changed completely. My mother bribed the police and escaped arrest I was treated as a descendant of a traitor at school by my father's arrest But I couldn't do anything at the time, so I had to endure it. After graduation, I worked for a state-owned company, where I was treated unfairly. Therefore, I thought that I could not live in North Korea, so I crossed the frozen Yalu River with my sister who was two years older than me in winter and defected via China We went to the border city late at night and crossed the border before dawn I was 19 years old The next morning, when I saw the city of China, I felt it was heaven There is plenty of food, the city is bright, and people are chatting happily in the dining room We've never seen anything like this in North Korea I am currently living in the United States I married an American woman a few years ago When I married her, I had a feeling of happiness for the first time. When my father was arrested, I thank God that I wasn't arrested either. In North Korea, it's common sense that when parents are arrested, their children are also arrested I pray for the democratization of North Korea

よく逃げ出せましたね!先進国で生まれた身分として、自由のない国に生活するのは完全に理解できてないっと思いますが、北朝鮮にも自由化を願ってます。 アメリカで幸せな新しい人生送ってください!I am glad you have escaped! I hope you have a wonderful new life in the US!
