I strongly believe that 3/4 of those children of emperors back in the day were not theirs. I mean with the number of concubines, consort, and interchangeable empresses in the palace, some of those women got their grove on with a guard, eunuch, or ministers. They fathered their children and passed them off as the emperors. I bet you.

When are these mistresses going to learn? The reason these men won't sleep with them is because they are using them to make their wives jealous or as their playthings. These men don't want them. That's why they don't divorce their wives and do everything they can to keep or force them to stay by their sides. It's sad but it's true. I noticed that in almost all these dramas, the same thing happens to all the mistresses. They claim the main lead loves them and wants to show off in front of the female lead like they won something. But when they try to be intimate or get the man's attention he refuses her. Then she wants to get jealous and blame everything on the female lead and harass her at every turn. Then when she doesn't get the male lead or husband's attention, she runs to another man and has an affair with him. When the truth is, she's making herself look bad and unattractive. All she's doing is drawing the male lead more and more to his wife, whether she's her old self or reborn as someone else. Most of the men see it and most of them don't and become their mistress's puppet. I'm just glad this male lead wasn't the second option and loved his wife.
