Not on you own. Felt the same all the way. The opening scene didn't help - can't forgive after 2:39 means i just can't fathom the depth of his cruelty. He can turn on you tomorrow if someone tells him unsavoury info about her. Also when FL told him he can't be with him with 2FL. He sent 2FL packing! That's you tomorrow . Very fickle ... I hate they left the open end. Like relationships can't come to an end! She should choose the 2ML.

@@ZeeMbambo93 yes exactly. Usually they also get the 2ML saying lines like that. Funny enough, I think ive only seen this one with an open ending. Most ( vertical cdramas ) only 2 historicals with FL walking away and cant recall one she leaves with 2ML ( thats how rare these endings are)... Is there a "dont show women walking away from marriage" law or censorship? .. just watched one just now he was horrid. Even took part in the torturing, whipping AnD she went back🤮 because he gave up the throne 😭

I've always watched tons of drama where the FL takes the ML back after sitting through hours of toture and abuse and he get forgiven in like the last 2 minutes of the drama. And out of the tons of dramas I've watched I think I only remember 3 or 2 who walked away.

How is the female lead a disgrace for making her own money? The mistress already has the male lead, everyone is on her side, and everything goes to her. So, how is it a disgrace for the female lead to go out and make her own money? She needs money to survive living with trash like the prince and his mistress. Even after giving up being a princess and giving the mistress what she wanted she still tortured and tried to kill her. I swear, I hate this mistress. She's one of those characters who will never be satisfied unless everything is about her.

I'm with you. She's a budding entrepreneur with good ideas, and her products help her people. If the prince couldn't see the jewel she is then he's myopic and that sounds like a personal problem to me. The FL was spunky and went and did her own thing. Good!,The drama should have shown the Emperor giving the Crown Prince the approval to marry her before they went away so it would be a stronger ideal ending that it was assumed that the couple married when they got to their destination. It would be more concrete that is how the story ended.

She nursed him back to health (after he saved her) but he has a bigger debt imo - instead of kneeling outside for days on end (manipulation), he could do things to make her happy. Enhance her life maybe. He was really cruel to the original owner and all his actions strike to me as guilt rather than love. ...i also can't forgive after 2:39 i can't fathom the depth of his cruelty. Because the Crown Prince (2nd ML) wants to take FL to borders or travel around to the world (ancient time call Jiangnan) that means He left behind his title of Crown Prince and other protocols of kingdom for her...maybe taboo is to married her as ex wife of his brother (ex sister in law)? but he doesn't care and still want her as wife. The ex did so much damage and trauma to the FL and had their baby aborted that I just don't see her going back. She was resolute on her leaving with the crown prince and just going away from this mess. The ex just complicated the issue, but honestly, her face just says, "How do I tell him to f**k off nicely?"" He just needs to grow the hell up and live with the consequences of his actions.

Penulis ragu menentukan ending padahal ceritanya sudah bagus. Karakter FL juga tidak mudah di intimidasi lawan. Karena itu saya pilih endingnya dia ke perbatasan. Pangeran itu baik dan pintar (tidak mudah dibohongi seperti ex-nya), juga selalu berpihak padanya walau bertemu saat wajahnya jelek. Dan dia juga putra mahkota jadi kepintaran pemeran utama wanita dari zaman modern tidak akan sia-sia. Bisa jadi cerita part 2 yang menarik.😂😊.

The scripwriter let the atory hanging in the end to let the audience decide as there will be different opinions.. What I like here is that they used another location, though still an adoptation, the plot was recalibrated for the audience to not say, "this plot again?!".. nice adaptation though..
