This is a funny hidden gender costume production with really good actors. The storyline is well constructed and it feels like FL is walking on eggshells. I loved this intense/powerful ML and this smart/kind FL. It was also refreshing to see a production where not all the tropes were thrown in just to make it longer. This different love story was actually heartwarming and well worth watching. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! In ancient times, FL disguises herself as a man in order to maintain the position as the Crown Prince, since her royal parents don't have a male heir. One day the Palace is attacked and her parents commit suicide. The man (ML) behind the attack orders the Crown Prince killed, but she manages to conceal her gender and persuade him to let her live. So, they make a deal of FL becoming a puppet Emperor to appease the Court and ML the Prince Regent - and the one with the real power. In the following days, FL struggles to keep her gender hidden, which proves very difficult since this intense and fierce ML turns out to be rather hard to keep a distance from. Well, not spoiling too much, this has a happy ending.

Lot of absurd stuff regarding the gender-bender but I loved the ML- FL dynamics. I absolutely loved the fact that the regent prince despite his obvious reluctance regarding his feelings for a man, eventually was okay with it. He just liked him, regardless of the gender. I really liked the fact that his emotions didn't change much after finding out that she's a woman, he was already pretty obsessed with her.❤

Male lead is very handsome. He has good aura. The FL is very good too. Super cute at acting scared. The plot was good. I didn't like the premise though, how could enemies like this fall in love? The power imbalance is too large. But I overall enjoyed this. I really like the two main leads.
