I actually really like this trope *green tea concubine conquering the love loyal prince* but one of my major issues is that the prince, tho easily led, is not inherently a bad guy. He's quick to betray his promise in favor of a new face. But he IS being worked heavily on. The FL is putting on the pressure to win his heart. Shes successful but never really loves him, even deriding at time. It can kinda make her a lil unlikeable. And thats why i really like this version. In this one he KNOWS shes scheming. He trusts her & hopes she comes to love him in the future. I really like that

Do you ever win their hearts? The 1st wife thought she did. I think the idea of these trope is "womens survival guide whilst he is still interested". A new fresher and different can always show up. She is that fresh start and kicked out the queen. In all the scripts it's not about mutual affection but how to survive. I didn't enjoy this one as much as he just seemed to easy to convert. The other scripts I felt like the ML really tried to resist

This version's FL is proactively attacking the main wife..unlike the other versions where she was focusing on the ML and just protecting herself. This is the 3rd version I’ve seen of this plot and the first where the FL is so blatantly the GreenTea from jump. Other versions depicted her as a woman struggling with decisions in order to survive. You were at times in those versions rooting for her despite knowing she was wrong.

The first version she was a green tea but never the villain the crown princess was the one who attacked her and her plans were always Vicious for the FL only thing was it never worked. The crown princess planned to have FL raped which was going to lead to her death and her whole family killed if that had happened.

What i only noticed in these dramas is that We never really know how the ML treated FL in her last life was he nice to her or does he hurt her and I also noticed that we never see much of FL family or her going back to her parents like they do in other storylines

I have watched a few versions of this drama, and I think this is the worst version so far. The FL is supposed to be flawlessly beautiful, and all the prior FL actresses fit the description. However, this FL actress, while not ugly, does not live up to the expectation. She is rather plain and has an overbite.
