可惜台灣道路規劃總是少了單車和行人。他們總覺得兩線道其中一個線道做成單車、行人專用道後這樣汽車道會變得很擁擠,卻不會想到單車道及行人道普及後本來開車的人會願意改成搭大眾運輸以及共享單車。

8:47 Taiwan is a heaven for bicycle lovers??????? Seriously????? I beg to differ,The manufacturers are good at producing, but the environment is very harsh, especially in central and southern Taiwan. Taichung is a production base, but the bicycle roads are as miserable as those in the third world, which is very embarrassing.------by a person who has lived in Taichung for 40 years.

I beg to differ, try cycling to work on a bicycle lane 16km long and only having to cross a road once. It’s not bad compared to many other countries.

連台北市都只有幾條大路可以放心騎了 夏天又熱死 冬天又下雨 北部整個環境只有3個月比較好騎吧 還是賺外匯就好 別像荷蘭推廣騎車了

For people actually living in Taiwan, watching this video feels like a joke. The road design is so bad it resembles a third-world country. There are no sidewalks, and everywhere you look, there are illegally parked cars and businesses occupying the roads. Two-wheelers in Taiwan live like second-class citizens. Motorcycles can’t go on highways and aren’t even allowed on fast lanes. There are no proper bicycle lanes, and every day on the road feels like a battle. More than 3,000 people die in traffic accidents every year, which is more than the number of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq.
