@@normanpang9Ini karakter penduduk Taiwan PD umumnya, tapi apakah di berita TV gak pernah ada kriminal di Taiwan??? Rapat partai aja para anggota partai BS saling pukul memakai kursi 😢

@@MeiLinda-u6iwe’re talking about sportsmanship, not about criminals. Christie lost the crucial point to his opponent’s non-sportsmanship behavior. @normanpang9 is obviously referring to Taiwanese Lee/Wang for telling the umpire giving points back to their opponent when errors are unnoticed.

Judge on Weng Hong Yang's overall performance against the opponents throughout the entire competition and not simply by the umpire's call on that specific ball as the spectators claimed as controversial. I think he puts himself all in and that he played fantastic. I believe Weng didn't hit it, but in the process of the competition and in that flash of a second, he is not sure whether the racket touches it or not. Even the spectators can't tell for sure, but based on speculate, do not do the justice to him.

Do you mean that a professional player may not know whether he/she has touched the shuttle or not?
@maryw7221Ай бұрын
@CC-kx9jg What I am trying to say is in the midst of the competition, and in that split of a second, Weng intended and rushed to hit back the coming flying shuttle but changed his mind because it is going to land outside the line. But the way he tries to hold back the racket might or might not have touched the shuttle. Nobody can have the concrete answers. It is just my theory.

No need to argue about if the shuttle touched him, just look at his expression when the shuttle touched the ground. The shuttle was out, shouldn’t he be happy? His expression tells it all.

@@Hannahnanana In such a tight game, no one will admit. Whether the person is Indonesian, Danish, etc, they will all not admit.

@Hannahnanana, everyone reacts differently, someone let out a shrilling scream, some stay calm while others cheer with a fist. He is that unique guy who stays calm throughout. I watched the rerun but couldn't pick up his expression any difference.
It is very obvious the player racket touch the shuttlecock. The empire can't see it - he must be biasely blind. The player did not feel it, he must be dishonest. If badminton sport want to be widely recognised and become more popularized by people round the world, such basic judgement errors must be rectified otherwise the negative effect of dishonesty will drive away sponsors and fans.
I was surprised that so many mainlanders still support the decision by the Judge and chinese player IS RIGHT not to admit the mistake. This seriously has reflected chinese towards winning at all cost, disregards players behaviour and attitude. you guys dont have to look far. Just look at the match btw Man/Tee vs Seo/Kang in this very China Open 2024. See how the Malaysian player admitting the shuttle touched his hair and gave up the point on his own, Yes, no player want to lose any match. BUT if its your mistake, own it up.
