I wanted to do a little comparison between My Slow Dance and Rata Dirasa but since my brain was giving me absolutely zero useful material to work with, I just said to myself: 'oh screw it, I'll just do it my way!' And this is why I ended up hiking up to a cliff. 😅 I think My Slow Dance has a softness in it which is why it works well when I listen to it in the forest. And I tested the same thing with Rata Dirasa but it didn't work. Rata Dirasa is harsher than My Slow Dance. So I kept wondering, what would work with Rata Dirasa? Then I thought of a cliff. Rata Dirasa would work well with a cliff. But it needed to be a place where I knew I'd be able to be completely alone (it really spoils the mood if you're trying to stand on the edge of a cliff, listening to music but someone is cooking sausages on a campfire next to you 😆). Luckily, I quickly came up with the perfect place. So I hiked up to the cliff and it was well worth it: to be able to feel the cold, hard stone beneath my feet, to see the dangerous fall ahead, to hear the music in my ears. As a summary, My Slow Dance is the forest but Rata Dirasa is the cliff. Both are beautiful, but in different ways.
