I always liked teh grader and this here has the most modern design blades and maneuverability.

I will definitely attest to the snow getting rock hard the next day or 2 -- i operated Cat graders and snow plows for 30+ years for the County here in Wyoming -- loved every minute of it accept when I slid off the road from yes the rock hard snow bank !!

I saw a grader trying to use this type setup in heavier snow and all it did was keep pulling the front of the grader over to the left. The path through the snow behind him looked like a snake he was all over the road.

AN EXCELLENT DESIGN that has been improved over time through experience / trial-and-error. Just about perfect for clearing gravel roads as I see it. Those wheels help prevent the gravel surface of the road from being pushed away unnecessarily.

dont see it lifting the snow very high. check out Saltvik and Gmi plows. graders are not much used fro plowing here. only grading ice. trucks to the plowing or loaders with blowers when get extreme

Children every where this blade works hate it cause buses can pick up kids for school. They dont bother listening to radio for school closings, they just wait for bus. They know better since this blade is in town's inventory clearing snow. Nice Presentation 👍

Anyone that thinks plowing a big ridge like that is a improvement hasn't plowed much snow. The thing thought out about this is it's easy to take off so you can put the v plow back on

looks like the grader is to light in the front for it there is a lot of side movement
@danielrose13926 жыл бұрын
They are demonstrating the plow at it's absolute limit to show what is possible. You can always send a v plow first and then plow the next passes not using the full with. This is preferred, especially because you can throw the snow further away driving at higher speeds.

what about 12-20 ft drifts I don't see that be able to do this kind of job

A V plow and end loader and snow blower are about the only thing for 12-20ft drifts
@danielrose13926 жыл бұрын
Considering that graders are built for a different purpose, they offer an incredible snow clearing performance. Sure, for 20 ft you need dedicated snow clearing equipment or a front loader.

At 6:00 minutes the narrator says the grader only weighs 3,600 lbs ?...think he read it wrong...36,000 lbs maybe but not 3,600 lbs.
