I'm a Wing Chun guy as My main Martial Art I really like the look of Bajiquan plus it's effectiveness is better than Wing Chun

WingChun is a great art. I have many students whose background were all WC.

Oh, I always wanted to see a video where this technique is explained, thank you very much! As a Boxer, this is my favourite move in Baji Quan, because in Boxing I do a lot of dodges and I know how easy it is to get close if you time it good. Obviously in Boxing you can't elbow strike, but if you can mix a Boxing side slip with this Baji Quan elbow, that could be a very effective combo. Also I know you can do throws from that position, I would love to see a video about the different throws you have from there. 👀 Very good video, thank you for the upload! ^^

another use of proper ding zhou is in the pocket. The lead hand tries to grab the wrist OR deflect the hand of the opponent as you sink the elbow strike (can be replaced with close range body shot) in and/or grab to the back of the neck. Similar to dirty boxing.

Will you record the seminar and make it available to the attendees?

I've never seen a clearer explanation of where the penetrating power of the elbow strike some from. It's almost like a stabbing motion from up and the side to down and to the side. That would really hurt. The actual power is all the Kua and sinking.

Thanks you. They way you put it, stabbing, is precisely correct.

@@wutan_nj I was only able to pick up on when you did the demo at the end. I've never seen it showed down, broken down and explained ike that.

I hope to participate in the Seminar, even if it’s for one day. Also, I love how the Ding Zhou is taught here and I do my best to improve it with practice when sparring, low stance and all
