Thank you sir Please its required to take signs for direction like +response function in X direction and - response function in X direction and same for y. if we use 100+30 rule the sign of directions are also necessary or no especially if the structure note regualr for example 100 spec x +0.3 spec y 100 spec x - 0.3 spec y -100 spec x + 0.3 spec y -100 spec x - 0.3 spec y and same above for 100 in y direction and 30 for x direction.

It is because time period on X axis taken as 0.01 s. Hence for T=0.01 s, there is a response. If you take T=0.00s, the structure will not respond for any ground motion. I hope it is clear to you.

Dear Husain, Yes, all three diagrams are of 3 different structures. As you can see that all of them have different time period, i.e. combination of mass and stiffness is leading to 3 distinct timer period, hence all of them are 3 different structure. Wish you all the best. regards, SD Team
