I have a 1993 300e 2.8...It's just a wonderful happy car that is driven daily. Comfortable, decent mpg, excellent trunk - and you feel VERY safe behind the wheel.

I had the US version 1988 300E in the same color combination. The extra power of the 3.0 liter made it quite powerful for that time. The color is called Desert Taupe and it was gorgeous, changing color as the sun went down. And the leather seats in that era were amazing, comfortable, and mine still looked new after 250,000 miles. The W124 was the pinnacle of MBZ with style and the lowest drag coefficient of any car at that time. I still have a 1990 300CE which is now a classic.

Creo que mercedes benz con el w124 alcanzo la cuspide en la industria automotriz. Al dia de hoy sigue siendo un automovil que despierta admiracion. Es un auto lamentablemente irrepetible.

wonder if electric windows is an expensive option back in 80’s and 90’s… it seems alot of W124 doesnt come with electric windows or only front electric windows… they rather had electric sunroof that electric windows
