W140 1999 Mercedes Benz S420 "Start Error" Fix

If you are getting a "START ERROR" on your instrument cluster, here is a possible solution and fix without spending lots of money or needing a fancy tool.
None of the three keys I had were working on the car.
Mercedes does not sell these keys anymore as well, but luckily one was not needed.

take your mirrors off and see if the wires are chafed thru thats what it was on mine
