Key 2 is not required. If you have more input keys then you can utilise that key2 wire. Else its fine to use only key1 with the current setup.

You cant install camera in stock infotainment system that cones in w6. Either you have to install another screen on dashboard or on irvm. About auto folding mirrors, i am working on it. It might be possible.

Because Android players give output only of 20-30W at 3v per channel. Although they claim to have DSP and all but in reality they don't have. Whereas SONY Pioneer or any reputed brand gives 55W at 5V output. I prefer sound quality over those fancy Android features. Hence went with SONY.

1. Infinity Primus Reference series component speakers PR6510cs -1pair (front). 2. Infinity Primus Coaxial speakers PR6512sh - 1 pair (rear). Above two are directly running on SONY XAV-AX3000 head unit. 3. Sony 2 Channel amplifier XMN502 for driving Pioneer 1200w sub woofer. You cannot improve your bass without a dedicated subwoofer kept in the boot. There are many under-seat subwoofer, but frankly speaking they are waste of money, doesn't add much bass to the system. To get some bass you can install Infinity reference series components on all doors driving it on a 4 channel Sony amplifier.

You should stretch to w8o s company has removed almost 50% of the features from w8 in BS6 variants. So it makes more sense to spend on w8o. I have Petrol engine, it gives 13kmpl light footed with AC in cities. On highways it can go till 14-15. Depends on your driving style.

Yes but they include wiring and relays in the accessory kit. Even if you get them from boodmo you need to buy relays and wiring which costs almost similar. Choice is yours.

Great work buddy!! I will be booking W4 black in bangalore. Mahindra has a list of 37 accessories that they can fit in their workshop but some of them are quite expensive compared its prices online. So have to figure out what to install from Mahindra and what to install from outside. I think I will mostly go for the same Sony model you have. How's it's performance been? Have you had any issues at all? Also, doesn't Mahindra have front and rear skid plates at their workshop? Again very nice work on the videos. Keep them coming :)

Congrats. Just get fog lamps, rear led reflectors and seat covers from Mahindra. Because they are priced reasonable and are of great quality (Personally using them sing 1 and half years). Get audio system, floor mats, floor lamination, body cover from local accessory shop. The prices of these are very less compared to the company's brochure and they are almost same i mean, the remote central locking in mahindra is from the brand RD, they have sony systems priced at full MRP but outside you'll get same system for ₹2-₹3k less, same goes with speakers, amplifiers and sub woofer. So check with the local accessory shop once.

Also one more quick question. Why did you chose AX 3000 over 5000? Are there any major differences? And how about other accessories like chrome handles, door beeding, spoilers, roof rail, bumper skid plate, wheel caps, door visors, do you suggest getting these too from outside?

@@theprolightingindia AX3000 and AX5000 are almost similar. AX5000 has capacitive display (like those we get on smartphones) and 2 USB ports. I didnt get a good deal on AX5000 so i opted for AX3000. Anyhow i might upgrade in future so i didnt spend much. Just i wanted Carplay so went with AX3000. If i could get AX5000 around ₹18-19k i would have definitely bought it but the shopkeeper was asking ₹21k with no discount so i went with ax3000. I dont like chrome add ons so i never bought it. You can see my car, its totally chrome-free. But if you want to buy it then get it from Mahindra itself, its bit costly there but chrome will have that shine much longer than the aftermarket ones. Aftermarket ones are cheap but they also get corroded easily. So get chrome from mahindra. Door beadings, aftermarket will do fine. Or mahindra has a good quality one. Spoiler get it from the company, get painted it from outside and install it in the Mahindra's workshop. I did the same (Just check my videos). Roof rails in mahindra are damn costly, they are priced at ₹4,000. Hence i didnt installed it. But if you have a good car accessory market in your city then you can get it for ₹1500 (as one of my friend from delhi has bought it, its exactly the same one which we get in w8o). So check in market you'll get same roof rail for ₹1500-1800. If you dont then i suggest you not to spend ₹4k on it. Its not worth it. Front skid plate (₹300-400) you can buy it from boodmo and install it on your own (i have made one video on it). Rear skid plate just remove that part and get it painted outside in silver colour as i did for ₹500. (I have video on this too). Else if you want it original then get from boodmo it costs like ₹1300 or so. Wheel caps- get from mahindra, those which look like w8o's alloys. Dual tone wheel caps. Door visors get it aftermarket. They are very expensive from mahindra. Just compare the accessory's prices on m2all.com and check with the local accessory shop and then buy where you get cheaper. They be exactly of same quality. Just some research is required thats it. 😅

Bhai ye toh kuch bhi nehin.. I recently thought to upgrade my XUV300 w8 petrol music system. Before replacing, I thought to open myself and check why it's bad. You can't believe that W8 has exactly same Audio system as optional, it has GPS antina which connected as well, a GPS module, everything same except the map storage board. Also there is holder and harness connector for globbox light and bootlamp. They just did not fit bulb and in music system software they disabled the navigation. I am shocked! Technically they didn't made any cost cutting as that would cost them more to manufacture more parts. They just intentionally disabled few things to separate between higher and lower version. Pretty ugly marketing strategy..

No you cant enable because it needs ecu reprogramming. Can you share that creta's link. I dont think so it will work using aftermarket mods.
