W400 Clean Water Tank Error

I had this same problem with the new w450 but FINALLY figured out how to "fix" it (or at least get rid of the annoying error to get it running again). This may sound obviously dumb but after every use I put hot water in the dirty water tank, vigorously shake it, and leave it off the robot with the drain open to let it completely dry out. Before I was putting it back on the robot to charge, but I kept getting that damn error. I haven't gotten the error since I've been rinsing the tank and leaving it off while charging. Hope this helps because I was about to throw mine out the freakin window, especially since the lady wouldn't shut up about it!

Clean water pump inside has two non-return valves and this needs to be cleaned. Screws around battery and behind needs to be removed completely in order to remove pump cover. The screws nearby Right wheel are just to be loosen a bit to pull out the pump and disassemble it. Try with inlet pipe open too see if water is coming to pump freely with gravity. Overall, fine engineering of the robot assembly/disassembly.

It might be too late to leave this comment, but please check the water pump where in the middle of the tank next to filer. When you press the water pump and let water out to see if there's any clogging. I tried refill the water in to clean tank and dirty tank as well, and press the water pump it worked. Hope this help.

So when non of the other mentioned make a difference on your error; Found out that clean water tank breather (lets air in when water gets pulled out) is air coming from dirty water tank. When the cleanwater tankbreather filter gets clogged inside dirty water tank, it will not allow air in the tank, wich not allows water to flow out. you need to rinse this dirty water tank untill your arms are 2 cms longer. Then try again. Worked for me and it declairs why the problem gets intermediate better whenever there is a slight change in dirty water tank.

I solved this by ordering a new water pump from iLife.

Hola la solucion efectiva para mi fue llenar los dos tanques de agua tanto del agua limpia como el del agua sucia y ponerla a andar luego ella te dira que tienes que cambiar el agua sucia y botas el agua sucia y pones denuevo a andar y listo ya no marca el problema

Hi everybody. After monthis not using my device I turned it on today and it started stopping with this error. After dismounting I've seen the problem and fixed it, its currently working. In my case the problem is caused by a faulty water check that gets obturated. This valve is the one that inserts into the clean water tank and is clearly visible when you take out the water tank (its like an arrow). What i've done to get unobtured is open the device from its bottom side. First: unmount the battery placement (4 screws), this is the middle upper one in which the connector to power is located (two metal squares). Second: unmount the down side, this is the one that is near and all along the rotating brush. Third: you'll see then a tube that goes from the admissión water check valve to the pump, you must dismount this tube (its a flexible plastic tube). Fourth: take a syringe with water and connect to the valve, exactly where the tube you just disconnected was inserted. And FLUSH all the water and make sure the water gets through. Fifth: mount everything again and test it. Have luck!!!

Hi I resolved the problem I guess it's will work for anyone on the water tank there is 2 connectors that tell the robat whene the tank is full so I put Isolirband on it and it's resolve the problem, even the robat don't know if the water tank is empty or full it's not Metter because 1 charge its for 1 full tank hope it's help I use it's 1 month and no problems hope I help

I had similar problem. I tried putting some water in the dirty tank and then restart the robot. It works again.

I fix it by pushing the rod down and washing the dirty water tank inlet

Hi, I have four of these robots. Three of them with same problem. I've checked them completely. Pump and all hoses are clean. I think the problem is caused by the non-return valve in the reservoir (clean water side) . When I put an airgun on the valve and push on it, no air bubbles are coming in the reservoir. When I combine the defect machines with reservoir of good machine, they are all okay. Problem is that the reservoir is sealed together. You can't access the valve to take it apart. When someone has a solution for this problem, please let me know.

Hi, I even dismount pump to see everything was ok. The problem was the first "admission valve" that seems to be a water level check (sorry I'm not native english speaker so I cant describe it better). In my case this valve was clogged and everything had sense, no water passed through, and device stopped asking to check clean water tank.

@@joseluisbenitez7236 hola José soy de España estoy con el mismo problema he desmontado y los tubos están limpios los he revisado y vuelto a montar todo..sigue igual...probé con mezclar agua y vinagre por si era cal...y nada..podrías ayudarme?gracias

Put tape on the sensor....it will disable it. When you pull out the tank ..you see the sensor. ...it is on the machine .. ..the sensor is the metal plate ...when you lift the tank you see it..put tape on it
