W4F - Review - New 2023 Costa Sunglasses and Gear

Hey Ken, I know this topic has been bouncing around like a ping ball on the internet without no firm answer. Which costa glass LENS would you recommend for stream and river fly fishing (northeast- PA,NY) Currently I’m sporting Costa Diego with Copper silver lens and it’s just ok.. but looking for second pair that could be more effective with variable suns.

Unfortunately there is not a one stop shop. I actually carry two pair on me at all times. Copper is supposedly the best all around. Although, I use green mirror. That’s mostly for inshore sight casting, which I do most often. That is also my style of fishing when on the rivers as well. For low light, morning and evening I use the silver mirror sunrise! Best lens in the market for low light.

It’s winter! 😂 My days of iced guides are over. 😉 I will be back on the water soon!

@@Wish4Fish Oh OK. Here in Poland we have now above 0 Celsius, so no problems with the iced guides 😁 Good conditions for the streamer fishing. Are you planning to visit Europe in this season? In the past you had nice movies from Iceland and Spain👍

Unfortunately no plans for Europe so far. Although, I will be back in South America so stay tuned.
